How to cancel your subscription to the Philadelphia Inquirer

I was unable to find a guide online so here is the info.

1. Call the main switchboard at 215-854-2000. (Hours of operation M-F 6am-1pm)

2. Choose the "Home Delivery Subscription Related Inquiries" option (3 at the time).

3. Choose the "Stop Delivery" option (3 at the time).

You may have to wait a bit for an operator but when they come on the line they will ask for your phone number and that is it. They may try to resell you the paper but that is to be expected.

They recently changed their phone service with voice recognition. Here are the new steps to cancel your home delivery:

- Call then number listed above
- Say "home delivery" or dial ext. 5120
- Say "something else"
- Say "cancel subscription"

Then you'll connect with a representative.

Just want to add a point of clarification or warning to anyone trying to call during the work week (Monday through Friday)....their hours are 6am to 1pm but I called at 12:55pm (on my lunch break) and they were "closed" so keep this in mind when calling.

Like others, I am appreciative for the guidance in how to discontinue an Inquirer subscription. The process was very clear and simple, thanks to those who posted instructions and feedback!

I just canceled my subscription without any problems using these instructions. Thank you!
Also, fyi, they did offer me the opportunity to lover my subscription fee permanently to $ 1 a week ,instead of the $ 2.40 a week I was being charged so far. So if you would be willing to keep your subscription, if it was at a lover cost, there it is.

So what are the most popular projects to consider if you want to build your own generator.

Anyone who promises to use the solar panels to fend for
a good portion of his household's electrical needs is entitled to enjoy the solar
panels rebate. This is also true if they are included in to a garden like spot.

True that they have changed it to Voice recognition service. It was hack of a job for an asian to make them understand though.
I cancelled and payed all my owed amount last month, but i still kept receiving mail from them and the bill mentioned on the mail worried me, so i thought i should call them.

I said, "I cancelled my subscription and paid all the amount including the amount for which i never received The Inquirer. It was a month ago. Can you please check my account because i still keep getting mail from Inquirer and there is this amount mentioned on it that looks like a bill to me."

They said "Ok sir, can I have your account number."
I said "XXXXXXXX"
They said "can you hold on for a while while i check the problem.... (after 1 min) there was a 1.95$ owed so i am wiping that off."
I said "Does this mean, no more mails, bills and inquirer on my address?"
They said "Yes sir!"

Phewwww.....
